Anglers may try their luck along the banks of the Indian River Inlet or on the ocean beaches, and head boats and charter boats launch out of the full-service Indian River Marina, offering wet slips, fuel docks, boat storage, supplies and more.
A variety of seasonal park positions may be available at Indian River Marina:
IRM Maintenance I /Custodial/Grounds- $15.00 having the ability to safely operate small tools and equipment with min supervision, ability to paint. Maintaining the park grounds and its facilities and perform general maintenance duties. Performs custodial services in restrooms, offices and other buildings such as mopping, dusting and vacuuming.
Night Watchmen - $15.00 Overnight shifts - performs patrols of the docks, parking lots, bath house facilities and surrounding area, maintaining logs of vehicles, unusual events, and ensures security of the marina office, cottages and surrounding area. Patrols are completed indoors and outdoors and is responsible for late night cottage arrivals, patrolling cottage grounds, assisting tenants with any problems within the cottages and collecting revenue for the transient slip holders.
Ramp Attendant - $15.00 responsibilities include but are not limited to customer service, facility clean up, grounds keeping and other assigned duties.
Marina Dock Hand- $14.00 assist boaters entering and exiting their slips, direct transient boaters to the office, remind boaters of rules and regulations, and assist staff as needed.
Ship Store Manager - $ 16.50 assist in the Retail management of the Ship store; includes overseeing the opening and closing of the store and register, maintaining inventory of store merchandise, scheduling haul outs and launches using Marina Office software.
Work is performed indoors and outdoors, weekends, evenings and holidays as scheduled to meet facility needs and must be willing to work around boats and water.

- May performs vehicle and foot patrol of assigned area.
- May collect appropriate fees for fuel sales.
- May perform custodial services for the dock.
- Provide excellent customer service and park information to visitors.
- Must be able to demonstrate responsibility, dependability and good communication skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Other duties as assigned.
IRM Maintenance I/Custodial/Grounds
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Experience using landscaping equipment and hand or power tools.
3. Possession of a valid driver’s license (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving.
Boat Yard Attendant
1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
2. Possession of a state-issued boater education card of NASBLA-approved boating safety course certificate.
3, Experience operating a boat.
1. At least 18 years of age.
2. Knowledge of customer service.

This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.
