Degreed Nutritionist for WIC - The Resource Connection of Amador & Calaveras Counties, Inc.

The Resource Connection of Amador and Calaveras's Women, Infants and Children Program is looking to hire a full-time Degreed Nutritionist who is friendly, hardworking, and enthusiastic about helping others.

Our Degreed Nutritionist conducts nutrition assessments, counseling, and nutrition education for our WIC participants in Amador and Calaveras counties. In addition, provides support to our Nutritional Educators and Breastfeeding Peer Counselors.

Full-Time Position: Monday through Friday/ 40-hours/ 8:30 am to 5pm

Pay Range: $20.37 - $30.46

Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or closely related field. Must possess minimum competencies as specified by California State Department of Health Supplemental Nutrition Program for WIC. One-year experience working in a community health care services setting, preferred.

Special Requirements: is the completion of 50 continuing units every five years (equivalent to those allowable for a RD or DTR.) Valid California driver's license and proof of current automobile insurance. Criminal record clearance. Willingness to work irregular hours, attend night meetings and travel as required by WIC.
