Job Title: Defense Litigation Paralegal
Job Description: Prominent law firm seeks to hire a Defense Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Downtown Los Angeles. The ideal Defense Litigation Paralegal possesses 5-8+ years of experience in defense litigation, trial preparation, conducting discovery, and drafting legal documents.
Job Responsibilities:
Preparing and filing documents in State and Federal court
Trial preparation
Cite checking and proofreading legal pleadings and legal documents
Propounding and responding to discovery
Preparing correspondence and legal forms
Organizing and managing documents and productions of documents
Interacting with clients and co-counsel
Maintaining billable hours of 1600+ annually
Job Qualifications:
5-8+ years of litigation paralegal experience
ABA-approved Paralegal certification strongly preferred
Knowledge of various case management and legal research softwares strongly preferred
E-discovery experience with DISCO and Relativity strongly preferred
The salary range will be $70,000-$95,000+ depending on experience.
