We are seeking a dynamic Defense Associate Attorney to join our rapidly growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a strong background in Personal Injury Defense to contribute to the strategic legal defense of our firm. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience and a proven track record of success. This role will be responsible for providing expert legal advice, conducting comprehensive legal research, and representing our organization in complex legal proceedings.
Responsibilities
As a Defense Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Representing our firm in court proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and administrative proceedings.
2. Providing expert legal advice on a wide range of issues including personal injury defense, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
3. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support the development of legal strategies and solutions.
4. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents and contracts.
5. Collaborating with internal teams to identify potential legal risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
6. Keeping abreast of legislative changes that may affect our firm and our industry.
7. Providing training to company staff on legal matters, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Defense Associate Attorney position will have the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Defense Attorney, specifically in Personal Injury Defense.
3. Current license to practice law.
4. Extensive knowledge of legal principles and procedures, particularly in relation to the finance industry.
5. Proven experience in managing a variety of legal cases from start to finish.
6. Strong negotiation, advocacy, and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and advise on appropriate legal actions.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and staff.
9. High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
