Basic Job Functions:
- Lead team of Estimators, Project Managers, Sales Engineers, and Sales Representatives.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and other potential partners.
- Lead Vulcraft-Verco Group (VVG) business development initiatives – i.e. sustainability, new products, regional accounts, etc.
- Proactively identify and drive opportunities for Vulcraft and Nucor to provide market-based solutions.
- Lead major project strategy with strong collaboration across the division, group, and enterprise.
- Assist Sales Manager in leading all commercial aspects of the business and back up as needed.
- Coach and develop direct report teammates.
The Deck Commercial Solutions Supervisor candidates must be willing and able to travel frequently. Candidates must be willing to relocate within three years for future advancement opportunities within Nucor.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Minimum two years experience in a supervisory role
- Commitment to mobility for promotional opportunities within 3 years
- Civil Engineering degree with an emphasis in structural engineering
- Experience developing new business strategies
- Experience as a structural engineering specifying professional
- Experience in a sales or commercial role
- SAP experience
