The individual will perform a variety of tasks within our Burr and Balance department including precision tool grinding, the use of overhead jib cranes, and inspection equipment. This is a great opportunity to start your career with Flowserve! **Shift: 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:30pm -2:00 am)** **Responsibilities:** + Utilize hand tools to deburr, cut, and polish parts + Operate overhead and jib cranes to lift and move heavy parts + Will be required to work in other areas of department when needed + Will use hand tools, air tools, die grinders and hand drills + Responsible for accurate completion of certification reports + Adhere to all Safety Procedures & Policy. Complete all Pure Safety and other safety training as required **Requirements:** + Ability to work in a team-oriented and CIP environment + Ability to follow complex verbal and written instructions + Basic shop math skills + Able to stand for long periods, repetitive arm motions, frequent lifting with occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. + Ability to work overtime as required + High School Diploma or GED **Preferred:** + Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. + Experience in using pneumatic air tools.
