Job Description:
The DE&I Consultant, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) will join as a key member of the Customer Experience organization and reports directly to the Chief Diversity Officer. The DE&I Consultant and will be responsible for strategic and operational support. As a key partner to the organization this role will serve as a subject matter expert and business leader to help shape and execute our DE&I Strategy, manage our Employee Resource Groups, support the planning and operations, formulate and execute educational initiatives, bringing awareness of external practices, tracking and measuring progress, etc. The DE&I Consultant will support the formulation and execution work across our recruiting and development, engagement and other key areas within the organization. Provides direct delivery of consulting services and guides assigned staff in the same.
Responsibilities:
• Helps lead the implementation and execution of DE&I strategy with business leaders, Employee Resource Groups, State I&D Councils by providing subject matter expertise, data and external trends/insights
• Shapes the plan to identify and foster strategic alliances and partnerships with sources for diverse talent, e.g., universities, external agencies and diversity organizations
• Manages and supports the Employee Resource Groups and State I&D Councils by providing consulting during origination, chartering and start ups and providing ongoing support and guidance as needed
• Foster collaborative partnerships within internal functions across the organization to ensure productive planning, development and execution of services and strategies.
• Collaboratively establishes and maintains DE&I infrastructure, tools, resources, processes, meeting cadences, etc.
• Supports identification and addressing of emerging trends that impact the industry or workforce
• Sources external vendors, as needed, for delivery of DE&I services related to best practice ERG and I&D Council processes, diverse talent development, and learning solutions
• Provides oversight into the development, design and execution and customized DE&I education and skill development solutions
• Provides direction, coaching, feedback and support to assigned staff, ensuring optimal engagement, development and results.
