DC SUPERVISOR (Inbound/Returns)
The DC Supervisor (Inbound/Returns) is responsible for coordinating and managing all inbound activities, maintaining accurate and complete inventory, and driving performance and staffing of the DC.
Responsibilities
- Drives processes which may influence the direction of other areas
- Effectively delivers formal counseling/mentoring to direct reports
- Participates and engages onsite client relationship
- Drives quality of Client related projects and promotes overall success
- Supervise and execute improvement process in quality production
- Supervise and adjust staffing levels based on requirements
- Manage, coach, and mentor hourly staff
- Identifies operational issues and drives action for quick resolution
- Communicate expectations and goals daily to team in order to meet PFSweb's performance standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Preferred
- 3-5 years in a Management/Leadership capacity within a Distribution Center environment, Required
- 1-2 years' experience in Returns, Preferred
- Workforce Planning experience, Required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, Required
- Deliver resolution to issues and promote process improvement
- Ability to obtain government background clearance, in addition to our standard background process
- Must complete US Federal Fingerprint and obtain NCIC Clearance
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Demands
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to push or pull carts of up to 100 pounds without assistance
- Ability to climb stairs without assistance
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and grasp products
Preferred Personal Characteristics
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Ability to interact and communicate with all levels both internally and externally
