We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent DC Manager who is fluent in Mandarin. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team and play a key role in managing our Distribution Centre (DC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production planning, supply chain management, and leadership, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent DC Manager, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
1. Overseeing the daily operations of the Distribution Centre, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
2. Developing and implementing strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
3. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
4. Leading and managing a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and continuous improvement.
5. Managing inventory control, ensuring the accuracy of inventory levels and the timely replenishment of stock.
6. Coordinating with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers.
7. Identifying and implementing opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
8. Communicating effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including staff, senior management, and customers.
9. Managing relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent communication skills.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, supply chain management, or a related field.
3. Proven experience in managing a large, diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and management, including inventory control, logistics, and supply chain management.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make sound decisions.
6. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.
9. Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
10. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
