Job Title: Data Center Logistics Technician
Job Description:
As a Data Center Logistics Technician, you will perform assigned tasks and escalate issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations. You will leverage process knowledge and best judgment to complete tasks without direct supervision. Your responsibilities will include coordinating, preparing, and executing incoming/outgoing deliveries, such as purchase order (PO) receiving and Rack Movement Supervisor (RMS) activities. You will ensure complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging, perform inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activities. Additionally, you will handle material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard processes, and perform the destruction of data-bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse/supply chain in an IT environment, inventory management, retail, warehouse management, or a related field
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous experience working in a data center environment
- If required, ability to manage a team of 5-10 supplier resources
Main Function: The main function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the system for equipment failure or errors in performance
- Respond to program error messages by finding and correcting problems or terminating the program
- Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs
- Operate spreadsheet programs and other types of software to load and manipulate data and produce reports
Top Skills:
- Shipping/Receiving Experience, preferably in a technical environment
- Physical inventory tracking and staging
- Purchase order (PO) receiving experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00
