Day Habilitation Trainer- Far Rockaway - Ohel Children's Home and Family Services

Full time positions available in Far Rockaway for caring staff to involve individuals who have developmental and/or intellectual disabilities adults in skill development while encouraging them to become more independent in a Day Habilitation Program. Responsibilities include running and participating in activities to foster independent living as well as escorting individuals to various volunteer sites and activities in the community.

Requirements:

• Motivated candidate with good interpersonal skills
• Ability to relate to individuals promoting meaningful outcomes
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to speak and write English
• Valid NY or NJ driver's license and ability to drive 15-passenger van required
