As a Database Marketing Coordinator, you will coordinate database marketing campaigns. Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
- *Assist database marketing team in coordination of database marketing project production, running reports utilizing the Casino Management System (CMS) or report writing relational database software as needed, and mail facilitation.
- *Coordinate database marketing requests and fulfillment of trackable offer campaigns related, but not limited to, advertising, events, promotions, entertainment and sponsorship through both hard copy mail and web based email offers.
- *Maintain a working knowledge of the Casino Management System (CMS) and relational database report writing software to access carded guest contact information and play history for database marketing effects.
- *Assist database marketing team and other departments with guest inquiries or concerns related to database marketing efforts.
- *Assist database marketing team in running reports utilizing the CMS or report writing relational database software as needed.
- *Support the database marketing team with general day-to-day office operations, to include but not limited to screen and respond to phone calls and emails, distribute incoming mail, schedule meetings, maintain calendars, relay messages, file records and order office supplies.
- Attend meetings as required, provide support and record, type, and distribute agendas and minutes.
- Assist Manager to update and maintain database marketing budget.
- Research new marketing/advertising industry changes and trends.
- Ensure departmental records and reports are thorough and accurate.
- Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures and regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred. Prior Casino experience preferred.
- One year of administrative or data entry experience required, preferably in Marketing or Advertising.
- Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and the ability to demonstrate intermediate Microsoft Office Skills. Experience with CMS software preferred.
- The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and fractions.
- The ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests, regulatory agencies or members of the business community in a prompt and professional manner.
- The ability to read and interpret written instructions and diagrams.
- The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
- The ability to interact with guests and team members at all levels of the organization professionally, including the ability to speak in front of small groups.
- The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends and holidays.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, sit and move throughout the property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member will be required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.
