Employment Type: W2/Salaried/FTE

Salary: $80,000-100,000/year (depending on experience)

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Business Administration (Info Systems), Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• 4+ years of experience with database management systems as a database administrator, engineer, developer, etc.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with database and database management system design, implementation, and maintenance
• 2 years of management experience managing database administrators, engineers, developers, data analysts, etc.
• 2+ years of Human Performance Management experience
• Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard information within databases/systems

Plusses:

• Experience managing a Human Performance Management system
• Smartabase database experience
• 2 years of python coding experience

Day-to-Day:

Insight Global is looking for a Database Manager to sit onsite in San Antonio, Texas. This person will ensure access, data use management, and security measures are being followed by all employees. They will be conducting system tuning, performance monitoring and database maintenance to make sure the databases are functioning correctly. This person will come from a background working in athlete management systems and human performance context.

• Design, implement, and maintain database systems to support our human performance management tool
• Ensure data integrity, security, and availability across all database systems
• Optimize database performance through regular monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting
• Develop and enforce database policies, procedures, and standards
• Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions
• Manage database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes
