About the Job
CornerStone TTS is in search of a proficient Database Administrator to join our team in Austin, Texas, for a Monday through Friday engagement throughout 2024, with a high likelihood of extension into 2025. This is a long-term opportunity for a critical project, offering visibility and rewarding challenges for the ideal candidate.
As a Database Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and effective storage, retrieval, customization, security, and archiving of data to maintain integrated database systems for Our Client.
Your responsibilities will include entering codes to create production databases, monitoring database performance, directing necessary changes to the database management system, and reviewing and correcting programs. Additionally, you will provide technical assistance, coordinate with program and IT staff, and develop management and workflow reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the planning, development, maintenance, and monitoring of integrated database systems.
- Ensure data integrity and control redundancy, and coordinate the use of data.
- Perform data modeling, logical and physical data modeling, and design relational database models.
- Implement and enhance standards on database security, disaster recovery procedures, and systems.
- Assist in the installation, analysis, design, and implementation of databases.
- Develop management and workflow reporting tools for program areas.
- You will also contribute to business analysis, process planning, and the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Additionally, you'll conduct detailed studies and reviews, define problems in administrative practices, and provide consultative recommendations for business process improvement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management practices, principles, and processes.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in business, program, and system analysis, including developing goals, objectives, and procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in analyzing statistical information and translating complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience in developing management and workflow reporting tools for program areas.
