Position Overview:
The DataWarehouse Administrator will be actively involved in the evaluation, review, and management of database resources, Power BI Environment and other data services across the organization in order to ensure a high level of data integrity is maintained. A Successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of an Azure database solution based on multiple sources of input, while also being responsible for development and sustainment of our data solution, executing data loads, ETL processes and data management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of forming an excellent database infrastructure from the ground up in close association with peer teams and vendors. While providing the database expertise needed for the team’s success, this individual will also be required to develop, follow and enforce database standards. This position will require an individual who can work with minimal supervision on a wide range of projects interfacing with development teams, business analysts, IS management and members of the business community while constantly ensuring that their work is aligned with the business and technology customers.

Key Functions:
- Deploy, Manage, and Monitor all MS Azure databases in the environment.
- Ability to identify system-level bottlenecks in the database and provide recommendations
- Maintain Database security, integrity, and availability
- Power BI management and development experience
- Experience with Azure Data Factory and MS Fabric
- Build, maintain and manage all custom ETL’s for 3rd party vendors.
- Collaborate with teams across the environment providing support and leadership
- Assist Analytics teams with PowerBi designs and proper configurations.
- Maintain and configure security settings and permissions across all database environments.
- Assist with the creation, modification, and revision of policies and procedures
- Ability to create and maintain documentation supporting all configuration changes.
- Assist in database modeling, planning and analysis.
- Apply logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- 3-5 years of experience in a relational database environment providing support and management of Cloud-based databases. (Prefer Azure)
- Strong knowledge of high-availability and disaster recovery in relational database environments
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Cloud database solutions and offerings
- Experience with API development, Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric
- Experience with performance tuning and capacity planning in a Cloud-based Azure database environment.
- Experience collaborating with teams across the organization.
- Experience with PowerBi, will work directly with analytics teams as needed.
- Ability to Multi-task in a fast-paced environment across multiple projects and issues with various timelines.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
