Position Overview
The Data & Systems Analytics Manager is directly responsible for the design, development, implementation, and evolution of all analytics visualization tools to assess and measure product performance. This position directly manages all product analysts across the department. The Data & Systems Analytics Manager governs and is the process owner for the creation, production, and distribution of capital reporting to all levels of management to ensure budget adherence worldwide. This position manages the product analytics and aligns with finance, FP&A, and the Product Management group to ensure consistency and accuracy. The Data & Systems Analytics Manager develops KPIs to accurately measure and assess product performance. This position directly oversees the product code structure and other IT solutions needed to maintain systems integrity and accurate reporting. The Data & Systems Analytics Manager will report to the VP of Asset Management.
Key Job Responsibilities
Analytics Visualization
• Own all analytical visualization requirements of the Product Management department.
• Dashboard creation & regular distribution to multiple stakeholders within and outside Product Management, to clearly communicate performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Create, maintain, and query databases & tables to support analytics needs listed above.
• Responsible for alignment of dissimilar data sets into cohesive dashboard and reporting output.
Capital Budget Governance
• Process owner for all capital detail visualization/reporting to all levels of the organization worldwide.
• Responsible for preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly executive summaries.
• Review existing process/data available and recommend/implement improvements to increase accuracy and maintain timeliness.
• Responsible for alignment with Finance team reports and variance identification/resolution.
KPI Development & Analysis
• Provide analytical leadership and consultative support to develop relevant KPI’s for all PM teams.
• Collaborate with members of the Product Management Leadership team to review data and construct action plans to improve efficiency and reduce cost.
• Own KPI performance and provide recommendations monthly/quarterly for improvement to all stakeholders.
Project Management
• Responsible for the Product Management department for all projects related to database alignment/integration.
• Lead efforts to ensure alignment and consistency with other analytics producers worldwide.
• Expand knowledge base to include Access, SQL, and visualization software (Tableau or equivalent).
• Develop data integrity protocols and help maintain data integrity in the systems by analyzing data, creating, and running various audits.
• Oversee the implementation, integration, and support of IT related systems.
People Management
• Oversee team members in the Data & Systems Analytics department.
• Increase operational effectiveness by managing direct reports and communicating Encore Core values, strategies, and objectives.
• Monitor and improve the team’s efficiency and productivity using standards and KPI’s.
• Establish clear expectations regarding responsibilities, behaviors, and daily activities.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members and ensure a safe work environment consistent with company values.
• Responsible for day-to-day management and regular touch points to ensure success.
• Partner with HR business partners to manage human resources activity including selection, performance management, goal development, salary administration, training and development and strategic human resources planning.
Job Qualifications
• BS in Business or Accounting/Finance related field
• 7+ years of Operations experience
• 4+ years of Management experience
• Demonstrated excellent leadership and management skill
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, Macros, Advanced Formulas, PowerPivot, etc.). Proficient in Microsoft Access preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact with many departments and managerial levels within the organization
• Clearly express results to management through schedules, tables, charts, and commentary
• Able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and large datasets concurrently
• Analytical skills to assess reasonableness of information collected/provided, identify trends, provide comments and recommendations
• Travel required as necessary to suit business needs

Office
Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Working times may include irregular hours and on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Team members must adhere to appearance guidelines as defined by Encore based in an office environment and when traveling, on an individual venue or a representation of venues in that city or area.
