About the Job

As Data Steward you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and quality of our data, with a specific focus on ETL and data cleansing initiatives. This positionparticipate in the planning and execution of data conversion activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams to guarantee a seamless migration to our new ERP system.

This is a Direct Hire Position 100 - 125K, hybrid 2 days onsite in Brooklyn, NY

Responsibilities:

Implement strategies for cleansing and standardizing data, with a focus on Item, Customer, and Vendor data.
Rectify data anomalies, inconsistencies, and errors through effective data profiling and analysis.
Adhere to data governance policies and standards to ensure data quality and compliance.
Establish and maintain data stewardship best practices.
Work closely with DBAs and other stakeholders to address database performance and integrity concerns.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data conversion processes, data mapping, and cleansing activities.
Generate reports on data quality, conversion progress, and issues for management review

Qualifications:

3+ Years proven experience in data stewardship or a related ata position with a focus on ETL and data cleansing.
Knowledge of data governance principles and practices.
Experience with SSIS, data quality, data governance, master data management.
Familiarity with data quality tools, ERP systems, and database management.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
DBA Experience is a plus.
