Job Summary: Data Scientist
The data scientist will play a strategic role in identifying and recommending opportunities for data science across applications being created for each business division. He/she will partner with leadership to understand business issues and identify data sources, data pipelines, and ongoing extractions that will be useful to answering key business questions.
Responsibilities
Develop and test innovative algorithms using Generative AI, NLP, and Machine Learning.
Partner with leadership to identify strategic opportunities for data science applications across divisions.
Analyze complex datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize technology infrastructure and deploy solutions.
Build and maintain data models for performance and relevance.
Create impactful visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Identify and source data for solving specific business challenges.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
5 years of experience in data science or a similar role, including hands-on experience with Generative AI and Machine Learning models.
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages.
Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib).
Experience with big data tools and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, or similar).
Solid understanding of statistical modeling and advanced analytics techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects.
Excellent communication skills for presenting insights and collaborating with teams.
