What does a Data Scientist II do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The Data Scientist team at Swire Coca-Cola leverages advanced analytics and AI/ML techniques to drive business value across the enterprise. We are currently hiring a Data Scientist II, who will provide exceptional customer service and predictive analytics across various channels, segments, and products to various departments. Working independently and in teams, you communicate the findings effectively, ensuring transparency in your work to stakeholders and driving impactful business decisions. This role involves developing predictive models, designing new tools, and providing actionable insights to enhance revenue, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. Responsibilities:
- Pursues (individually or in small teams) use cases across our business that will drive revenue, lower costs, increase our speed, and reduce our risk
- Deploys predictive models, algorithms, clustering and other segmentation methods, and expertise exploring and manipulating data to provide elegant, usable, and measurable solutions our business partners can use to drive value
- Proactively imagines and designs new tools and solutions for our business, from ideation to proof-of-concept approaches
- Understands and can communicate the implications of findings to the business
- Provides a transparent view into their work, documents and supports risks and monitoring of our intelligence (bias, testing standards, governance)
Requirements:
- Advanced degree Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related field required
- 4+ years’ experience using Python and SQL to drive real-world outcomes using analytics, statistics, and/or computer science experience required
- Experience working with cloud-native data and databases such as DataBricks, Snowflake, Azure required
- Predictive modeling analytics skillset AI/ML, data cleansing and feature design
- Experience utilizing analytics systems, databases, and tools
- Ability to independently explore new data to discover opportunities and trends
- Up to 25% travel with overnight stays
