Duties incl: Partner w/ fin'l fraud, product, eng'g, & other relev. stakeholders to ID, prioritize, & answer most imprtnt questions where analytics, stat. & ML modeling will have material impact on mitigating Fin'l Fraud. Drive cross functional analytic projs from beginning to end: bld relationships w/ partner fraud teams, frame & structure questions, collect & anlyz data, summarize & present key insights in spprt of decision making to mitigate fraud. Work w/ engrs to evangelize data best practices & implement analytics solutions. Telecommuting/wrk from home permitted. Bachelor's or equiv in CS, Data Sci, Stats or rel. fld + 3 yrs of exp in crypto currency or rel. Must have exp: Bld'g & deploying machine learning models to detect fraudulent activities; Advanced quantitative & data analysis, incl estimation methods, time series analysis, & machine learning techniques; Data querying languages such as SQL, scripting languages such as Python, or stat./math. SW such as R; Performing in-depth research projs, examining real-world data w/ math. methods; Cloud-computing tools & pltfrms such as AWS or GCP; Data visualization tools such as tableau, Qlik, or data studio; Wrk'g w/ lrg datasets, incl tick data; ID & implementing infrastructure improvements to min. overall latency & max. performance w/ packages such as Pandas or Pyspark; & Bld'g databases & creating ETL pipelines for lrg, complex data sets w/ Airflow.
