We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. This is a permanent role that will be instrumental in shaping our company's data strategy. You will be working with a high-energy team, using AI and advanced analytics to drive business growth and innovation. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on complex and challenging problems, using the latest techniques in machine learning and data science. Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytics models and solutions to yield predictive and prescriptive insights from large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
3. Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting, and other business outcomes.
4. Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
5. Conduct research on cutting-edge techniques and tools in machine learning/deep learning/artificial intelligence.
6. Present findings and solutions to key stakeholders and influence strategic decisions.
7. Develop company A/B testing framework and test model quality.
8. Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
9. Develop and maintain robust data processing pipelines and data management systems.
Qualifications:
1. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, AI, or related field.
3. Proven experience in manipulating data sets and building statistical models.
4. Strong knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
5. Strong experience using a variety of data mining/data analysis methods, using a variety of data tools, building and implementing models, using/creating algorithms, and creating/running simulations.
6. Proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, and Pig.
7. Experience with distributed data/computing tools like MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
9. A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
10. Demonstrated ability to drive business results with data-based insights.
11. Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc. is a plus.
12. Coding knowledge and experience with several languages: Python, Java, C++, etc.
13. Must be a critical thinker with a strong attention to detail and have the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
