Job Title: Data Scientist/ Data Scientist

Location: Fully onsite Albany, GA

Clearance Level: Public Trust

Salary Range: $120,000 - $145,000

Summary: The Data Scientist is responsible for analyzing complex datasets to extract valuable insights and drive informed decision-making. Utilizing statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and programming skills, the Data Scientist will clean, organize, and interpret data. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems, develop data-driven solutions, and communicate findings effectively.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required customer clearance for access to systems, facilities, equipment, and property.
• Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis to execute analytical experiments and solve manufacturing problems.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, etc.) and experience with applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
• Advanced experience in pattern recognition and predictive modeling.
• Relevant experience with Excel, PowerBI, PowerQuery, ML tools, and programming languages (e.g., Java/Python, SAS).
• Certification at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) I level preferred (A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND, Network+ CE, SSCP).

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect, categorize, and analyze data.
• Create, validate, test, and update algorithms and models.
• Use data visualization software to present findings.
• Make business recommendations to stakeholders based on data analysis.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to identify needs and develop solutions.
• Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
• Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize experiences and other business outcomes.
• Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes.
• Identify and integrate new datasets to enhance manufacturing outcomes.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Programming, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
