Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement data collection systems and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
- Evaluate data collection methods for relevance, quality, and effectiveness.
- Monitor and control data quality standards, including the creation of dashboards and reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to define data quality benchmarks, implement new processes, and improve existing ones.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Guide the organization in making data-driven decisions by analyzing, manipulating, tracking, internally managing, and reporting data.
- Provide technical expertise on data storage structures, data mining, and data cleansing.
- Train end users on new reports and dashboards, ensuring they understand the data presented and can use it effectively to drive business decisions.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to address business issues involving CRM and data management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis or management.
- Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning, and transforming techniques.
- Understanding of data warehousing and ETL techniques.
- Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development.
- Experience using statistical computer languages (R, Python, SLQ, etc.) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets.
- Knowledge of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.
- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage, etc.) and experience with applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
