This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in EDI within the healthcare space. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, with specific skills in EDI mapping, troubleshooting, and a deep understanding of 834, 835, 837, and x12 formatting. The role requires a bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Data Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our healthcare data systems. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across various systems.
2. Implementing and managing EDI transactions and processes, including 834, 835, 837, and x12 formatting.
3. Troubleshooting and resolving EDI-related issues in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Developing and maintaining EDI mapping for various data types and structures.
5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and provide solutions.
6. Implementing data quality control measures to ensure high-quality data.
7. Providing technical support and training to staff on data management systems and processes.
8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in data management technologies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Data Management Specialist role will have the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience with EDI within the healthcare space.
3. Proficiency in 834, 835, 837, and x12 formatting.
4. Proven experience in EDI mapping and troubleshooting.
5. Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
