Stanford University seeks a Data Integration Engineer in Redwood City, CA. Responsible for the analysis, design, configuration, and development of integration solutions for multiple clouds and on premises applications that are part of the Alumni and Development Applications Platform Transition (ADAPT) program. May telecommute within area of intended employment at employer�s discretion. Requires: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related degree and eight years of experience as a data integration engineer or any occupation in data integration engineering or Master�s degree and five years of experience. Must possess three years of experience in the following: Developing, testing, and deploying data integrations including with API and Web Services (REST/SOAP/Bulk); Project management practices, frameworks, and methodologies (Agile/Scrum/Waterfall); Defining and solving logical problems for highly technical applications; Recognizing and recommending needed changes in user and operations procedures including participation in code reviews; ETL and integration platform tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, SnapLogic); Git, merging, managing branches, and resolving conflicts; Manual/automated functional testing and unit testing. Must have knowledge in: Data design, architecture, and data modeling in distributed cloud/hybrid environments; Selecting, adapting and using a variety of programming methods; and Leading, coaching, and mentoring junior members of varying skill levels.
