We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Consulting Data Entry Specialist to join our dynamic team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong background in data entry and a keen interest in the medical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining our database with accurate, up-to-date, and accessible medical data. This position requires a high level of precision, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Data Entry Specialist, you will:
1. Carry out data entry tasks with speed and accuracy, ensuring the integrity of our medical data.
2. Review, verify, and correct data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
3. Conduct regular database audits to identify and correct errors and inconsistencies.
4. Comply with data integrity and security policies to safeguard patient privacy and sensitive information.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, organize, and input data into our database.
6. Convert paper documents into electronic formats, ensuring data is accurately represented and easily retrievable.
7. Assist in the development and implementation of data management policies and procedures.
8. Address and resolve any issues related to data entry or database management.
9. Provide regular reports on data entry progress and challenges to the management team.
10. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data management technologies.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in data entry or a similar role.
2. Proficient in MS Office Suite, with a focus on Excel and Access.
3. Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
4. Excellent typing speed with high precision.
5. Strong understanding of data confidentiality principles.
6. Ability to interpret and input complex medical data.
7. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Familiarity with the medical industry and medical terminologies is a plus.
11. A degree in Health Information Management or a related field would be advantageous.
