We are currently seeking three dynamic and detail-oriented Consulting Data Entry Clerks to join our finance industry team. As a key member of our team, you will play an integral role in maintaining and improving our financial systems and processes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the company's operations and success.
Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Data Entry Clerk, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Accurately inputting financial data into our database, including ledger entries, invoices, purchase orders, and accounts payable (AP) information.
2. Reviewing and verifying financial documents and reports, ensuring all calculations and data entries are correct.
3. Reconciling any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients.
4. Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports.
5. Maintaining confidentiality and security of financial information.
6. Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial procedures and ensure compliance with regulations.
7. Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a data entry role within the finance industry.
2. Proficiency in financial software and databases, as well as MS Office Suite.
3. Strong knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, including ledger entries, invoicing, purchase orders, and accounts payable (AP).
4. Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot numerical errors.
5. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. High level of integrity and trustworthiness with the ability to handle sensitive financial information.
9. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
