Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for inputting a variety of data into our systems accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Verify accuracy of data input and correct any errors.
- Organize and maintain data files and records.
- Perform regular data backups to ensure data preservation.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all data.
- Respond to inquiries and requests for information from team members and other departments.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure data consistency and accuracy across systems.
- Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of data entry tasks.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data security protocols.
