Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Develop, construct, test, and maintain highly scalable data management systems.
- Collaborate with data scientists and architects on several projects.
- Leverage Azure Data Factory to build complex ETL Pipelines.
- Manage and optimize data retrieval, storage, and distribution across the organization.
- Implement data security and privacy policies.
- Use Python, SQL, and NoSQL to write complex queries and scripts.
- Design and implement database architecture to support business needs.
- Utilize Spark to process large datasets in a distributed computing environment.
- Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
- Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and Azure regions.
- Create custom software components and analytics applications.
- Research opportunities for data acquisition and new uses for existing data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure Data Factory, NoSQL, Spark, SQL, Database Architecture, ELT, Python, ETL Pipelines, and Queries.
- Strong understanding of database structure principles.
- Experience in data warehousing solutions and constructing ETL pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python.
- Proven ability to write, optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries.
- Knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
