Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with Data Architects, Data Engineers, and Analytics Engineers to design and implement solutions that accelerate insight generation while minimizing errors.
- Develop and refine automated workflows and processes to enhance data pipeline efficiency and data integrity.
- Implement rigorous data quality controls to promptly detect and resolve data discrepancies.
- Automate and streamline various stages of the data analytics pipeline, ensuring productivity and reducing manual errors.
- Design comprehensive data workflows, including architecture, platforms, tools, and governance standards.
- Apply robust data security measures to safeguard information across all pipelines.
- Champion data-driven process improvements to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to foster data awareness and promote efficient data utilization across the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise teams to ensure seamless data integration and operational flow.
- Continuously seek optimization opportunities, enhancing data throughput and minimizing process inefficiencies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less-experienced team members, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Identify and implement enhancements to operational workflows, leveraging cloud infrastructure and software best practices.
- Stay informed on emerging technology trends, assessing potential impacts on current projects and exploring new opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline solutions, preferably within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Azure Data Platform, including ADF, Azure Functions, and Data Flows.
- Hands-on experience with SQL Server and familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with source control tools (e.g., GitHub) and build/release management methodologies.
- Working knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
- Background in Agile project management frameworks, including Scrum or Kanban.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare data and a deep understanding of the unique challenges in this sector.
- Exposure to Linux environments and proficiency with additional scripting languages.
- Familiarity with automated monitoring, alerting, and incident management to drive efficient system operations.
