Data Engineer

Duties:
The Data Engineer will be responsible for partnering with various analytics team and business partners throughout the enterprise to collect data requirements and design and build data pipelines/architecture as per IT best practices defined. This includes creating a data warehouse, design-related extraction, loading data functions, testing designs, data modeling, and ensure the smooth running of applications.
Furthermore, this includes building analytic tools, assembling and cleaning BIG data, designing and building ETL using various technology languages, creating data visualization, assembling large data and identifying and improving internal process to automate manual data wrangling, optimizing performance, and improve data quality.
Skills:
The Data Engineer must have excellent interpersonal skills, as they may work internally or externally depending on their projects. It is vital they are proficient in data pipelining, data structures, data modeling, data warehousing, and transaction processing. Python and SQL are required.
Power BI and Rare preferred.
Education:
Bachelor’s in computer, Engineering, data sciences or equivalent.
2-7 years of experience preferred.
