The Analyst, Conversions is a highly skilled IT operator with strong technical and project management expertise, responsible for ensuring accurate and secure data migration during system conversion projects. This role focuses on migrating data from legacy systems to Oracle applications, supporting data validation, reconciliation, and ensuring alignment with organizational requirements and compliance standards.
Reporting to the Manager, Conversions, the Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful data migration outcomes, contributing to analysis, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the data conversion process, adhering to established timelines, scopes, and objectives.
- Apply data mapping and transformation rules to ensure consistency with business requirements and data standards.
- Conduct use case testing and validate data integrity before migration to the new system.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations during the conversion process.
- Collaborate with development teams and functional leads to align conversion objects with the master data strategy.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide support for data validation and reconciliation activities.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with technical and functional teams across various platforms and applications, including Finance, Human Capital Management, and Supply Chain.
- Extract, review, and securely transfer data based on established mapping requirements.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
- Experience:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in data conversion or migration, with a focus on Oracle applications.
- Proven experience in Oracle data conversions for Human Capital/Payroll, Supply Chain, and Finance modules.
- Familiarity with patient accounting systems and healthcare environments is highly desirable.
- Strong background in programming, scripting, ETL processes, and data transformation across multiple platforms.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and ETL tools.
- Strong understanding of data structures, scripting, validation, and reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to operate in both technical and functional contexts.
- Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities.
- High levels of personal integrity and alignment with organizational values.
Preferred Background:
- Experience with Oracle implementations, particularly in healthcare or acute care hospital organizations.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements for data privacy and security in regulated industries.

Salary
60 - 65 /hour
