About the Job
We are seeking a skilled Data Center Technician to join our IT team. The Data Center Technician will be responsible for maintaining the data center's IT systems, troubleshooting issues, performing server installations, and ensuring uninterrupted access to network services. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of network infrastructure and data center operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Server/Network/rPDU device rack, stack and cable incl. Cable Management
- Rack/MOR Cabling - General supervised Deployment support
- Decommission IT equipment, DBD removal only (does not perform any scanning)
- Physical audits of datacenter assets
- Basic Server (Discrete/Rack-based) repair following documented procedures
- Physically assist in moving and racking equipment
- Maintain data center facilities removing debris and empty boxes once no longer needed
- Hard drive shredding
- Moving Locked DBD Bins to shred area
- Audit and inventory management support & spine clean up
- Physical audit of drinks/stationary on campus and reorder as necessary through CBRE/Staples
- Perform rack movement
PPE Requirements:
Hands: Level 5 cut/abrasion/impact- resistant gloves
Feet: Hard-toe work boots (footwear must cover the ankle and conform to ASTM F-2412, “Standard Test Methods for Foot Protection”, and ASTM F-2413, “Standard Specification for Performance Requirements for Protective Footwear

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00
