Data Center Engineer (Active TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly) - Piper Companies

Zachary Piper is seeking an experienced Data Center Engineer with an Active TS/SCI CI Poly in the Raleigh, North Carolina area for an opportunity with a leading Government Services Technology organization. The Data Center Engineer will be working in large Data Center environments to ensure critical infrastructure is available and online. The Data Center Engineer must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with a CounterIntelligence Polygraph (CI Poly)

Responsibilities: Data Center Engineer - TS/SCI CI Poly include:

• Serve as the go-to technologies for all aspects of customer's data center networking environments
• Collaborate with engineers to support requests for customer projects
• Provide high-level technical expertise to support complex LAN and WAN environments
• Provide continuous improvement to network and systems performance, efficiency, and security

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
• At least 3 years of systems and network administration/engineering experience
• Experience with Linux/RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux), AWS, Windows, and Security experience
• High-level knowledge of key technologies and protocols in network and security, including but not limited to route switch protocols like EIGRP, BGP and MPLS, and SD-WAN.
• Experience in WAN, LAN, Firewalls, and Cisco router/switch configuration
• Experience building and deploying new virtual machines using VMWare

• Annual Compensation: $130,000 - $160,000 ($65-80/hr. W2)
