Job Description:

• Design and develop comprehensive data models to support business requirements and ensure data integrity.
• Implement physical and logical data models to optimize database performance and scalability.
• Utilize AWS DMS to migrate data between different databases and environments.
• Manage and maintain AWS RDS instances to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams on data-related issues.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for data models, data flows, and data dictionaries.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot database issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve data quality and consistency.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in data modelling and database management.
• Contribute to the overall data strategy and architecture of the organization.

Qualifications

• Possess strong experience in Data Modelling, both physical and logical.
• Demonstrate proficiency in AWS services, including AWS DMS and AWS RDS.
• Have a solid understanding of database performance tuning and optimization.
• Show excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Exhibit strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Have experience working in a hybrid work model.
• Be detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Display a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Show a commitment to data security and compliance.
• Have a track record of successful data migrations and implementations.
• Be able to provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
