Summary:
As a data architect, you will leverage your advanced analytics skills to review and maintain client's data architecture.

Summary:
As a data architect, you will leverage your advanced analytics skills to review and maintain client's data architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Manage, direct, and coordinate long-term strategic planning of organization-wide data architecture
- Define and implement a data strategy by communicating with stakeholders via effective technical and process improvements
- Develop requirements and security guardrails for client's data architecture in the cloud and on-premise
- Work with executive team, directors and managers to assess data needs and make recommendations on the appropriate infrastructure and technologies to support the business strategy
- Consult projects, programs, and initiatives in client in reference to data direction, security, compliance, and strategy
- Lead and influence broad, cross-functional teams, including IT and non-IT teams
- Lead the definition of migration roadmaps for global data stores and applications
- Represent client on select architecture committees, steering groups, and task forces both internal and external to client
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field
- At least 8 years of data architecture experience
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field
- At least 6 years of analytics and IT architecture experience
- At least 12 years of analytics and IT architecture experience
- Additional Requirements
- Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Client does not anticipate providing employment related work sponsorship for this position (e.g., H-1B status)
- Experience serving as a data architect or lead architect on enterprise-wide projects
- Considerable experience leading and working with multi-site and/or partner development teams
- Expert knowledge of Cloud methodologies (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), automation, orchestration in AWS/Azure
- Advanced expertise in many areas of data platform engineering (infrastructure resources: storage, computation, networking, data management, transfer related to complex data solutions) and data engineering (data modelling, ETL design and development, data and metadata managements., query design/development/tuning, database optimization, data governance, data quality, best practices)
- Expert level understanding of databases and data technologies (incl. traditional RDMBS, noSQL, data stream solutions)
- Excellent knowledge of code build, testing technologies, CI/CD concepts and implementations (incl. Concourse/Jenkins, Git, Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation)
- Exceptional analytical, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- Eagerness and ability to learn and adapt technologies, industry practices, tools, and trends
