Position Description:
This role requires working hand-in-hand with Accrete data scientists, AI engineers, and cloud engineers to bring data to client problems. The data architect will be responsible for taking data at varying dispositions, speeds, and sizes and preparing them into machine learning models.
Duties:
- Manage the end-to-end ingestion, storage, transformation, and transport processes and architecture for client data
- Develop and implement a data acquisition and implementation strategy for clients
- Develop data schemas and ontologies for machine learning solutions
- Data source identification, ingestion, and alignment with data schemas and ontologies
- Ensure data integrity from capture to ingestion
- Identify and documenting data ingestion anomalies resident in the source or as part of the ingestion process
- Prepare and curate data for machine learning platforms
- Test data retrieval processes to ensure proper rendering of data in machine learning models
Skills:
- Strong mathematical and statistical background
- Ability to present compelling statistical visualizations of data ingestion and preparation processes
- Experience with ingesting real-time and batch data loads
- Mastery with building and managing relational and foundational databases
- Experience with database management software
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in information systems, mathematics, computer science or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of experience of data modeling, design, and foundational work for this position
- Pursuant to Executive Order 12968, August 2, 1995, this position requires U.S. citizenship
- Current U.S. government top secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and counterintelligence scope polygraph
Ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in the Department of Defense or intelligence community
- Experience working with AWS and Azure cloud environments
- Some experience coding in Java, Python, R, or C/C++
Salary Range: $150,000 - $180,000
Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
