Overview:

We are seeking a highlyskilled and motivated Senior Data Engineer with 8%2B years of experience to joinour team. This role will be pivotal in designing and building our warehousingdomain data interface. The ideal candidate will be an individual contributorcapable of leading design discussions, making informed design decisions, andcollaborating with stakeholders to create canonical data models.

Qualifications:

Strong expertise in thewarehousing domain and supply chain concepts.

Deep understanding of systemdesign principles and data architecture.

Proven experience withDatabricks, data governance, and data engineering best practices.

Excellent coding skills andexperience in conducting detailed code reviews.

Strong documentation skills tomaintain clear and comprehensive project records.

Ability to work independentlyand lead initiatives as an individual contributor.

Strong communication skillsfor effective stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and participate in designdiscussions to provide deep insights and guide design decisions.

Engage with stakeholders tounderstand requirements and define canonical data models.

Spearhead system design anddata engineering projects, ensuring optimal solutions are applied.

Stay current with the latesttrends and technologies in data engineering and Databricks.

Conduct comprehensive codereviews to ensure quality and best practices.

Implement and promote codereusability across projects.

Utilize Unity Catalog for datagovernance and compliance.

Create and maintain thoroughdocumentation for all aspects of data engineering solutions.

Required Technical Skills:

8%2B years of experience in dataengineering or related fields.

Proficiency in Python,PySpark, and SQL.

Experience with data modelingtools and frameworks.

Strong understanding of dataengineering concepts and hands-on experience with Databricks.

Familiarity with system designconcepts relevant to data architecture.

Knowledge of data governancepractices, including the use of Unity Catalog.
