Data Architect at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking a Data Architect for a Contract job with a client in Addison, TX (Hybrid). You will be responsible for designing and optimizing data solutions in a large-scale data warehousing environment.

 

Rate Range: $58/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Data Architect job responsibilities include:

• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data requirements in Data Warehousing environments.

• Build and maintain high-performance ETL data frameworks, ensuring scalability and error handling.

• Analyze and optimize Oracle ETL processes by identifying performance bottlenecks and fine-tuning queries, tables, and indexes.

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and technology teams to ensure the effective implementation of data solutions.

• Enhance data flow processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and the value of data across the system.

• Create comprehensive documentation of activities, solution designs, and performance improvements, supporting communication with project teams.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, contributing to timely project delivery while maintaining architectural standards.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Data Architecture.

• Extensive hands-on experience with Oracle SQL/PLSQL and advanced Oracle DBA skills.

• Proven expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning in large-scale data environments.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $68.00 per hour
