As an Analytics Solutions Senior Associate within the Asset Management team, you will work closely with business unit CFOs to analyze requirements for financial reporting and propose technical solutions. You will be a part of the Financial Analysis Management Information Systems (MIS) Team, focusing on delivering key financial reporting via SQL Server 2019/Databricks. Your role will encompass a range of tasks from BAU activities, investigative analysis, to development. This role offers the opportunity to enhance your technical, analytical, communication, and leadership skills in a fast-paced challenging environment.
Job responsibilities:
+ Partner across finance to develop and optimize data mining and analytics for financial trends and initiatives
+ Aggregate and mine new and existing data sources to make them available for reporting and analytics
+ Develop clear and concise reports that identify strategic information and provide recommendations for performance improvement
+ Lead MIS initiatives/ impacts and results discussions
+ Work within the existing data infrastructure to enhance the data available in our repository and optimize ongoing processes
+ Partner with finance and MIS teams to ensure the consistency and accuracy of data and reporting
+ Provide production support for the Essbase and SQL Server 2019 environments (such as security, scheduled job maintenance, general close/trouble shooting and performing quality control steps to ensure the accuracy of data).
+ Perform development duties within the SQL Server 2019 and Databricks environments (such as current state improvements and the creation of new applications).
+ Partner with the business to provide analytical and reporting support throughout the month.
+ Must be detail oriented, creative, innovative, and enjoy a fast-paced challenging environment. Must enjoy working as a member of a team and possess the ability to work independently.
+ Experience in SQL Server and Python is required. Aptitude to learn new technologies is a must.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer related major (i.e. Computer Science, Information Systems etc.,) plus 3 year of experience or 5 years of relevant work experience will be required.
+ Minimum 5+ years of experience in SQL Server 2008, 2012 or 2019 is required
+ Minimum 4+ years of experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is required
+ Minimum 2+ years of experience in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is required
+ Minimum 4+ years of experience in Python is required
+ Strong financial/business analytical skills, ability to work independently and efficiently, and proven background with systems support and direct contact with users to resolve issues with financial business applications.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
+ Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to work with the business to help facilitate reporting efficiencies
+ Overtime as needed
+ Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, Alteryx, Essbase and other Microsoft Office and financial applications
+ Experience/understanding of business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
+ Experience with Tableau, Databricks, Thoughtspot a plus
