Pantheon Data was founded in 2011, initially providing acquisition and supply chain management services to the US Coast Guard. Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in transforming raw data into valuable insights that drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs, develop comprehensive reports, and create visualizations that clearly communicate complex information. Your work will involve data cleaning, validation, and transformation, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the data. You will use statistical techniques to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations, helping the organization optimize its operations and achieve its goals. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and requirements.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, and transformation processes.
- Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, and implement improvements as needed.
- Use statistical techniques to interpret data and produce relevant metrics.
- Support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Stay updated with the latest data analysis tools and techniques.
- Document methodologies, processes, and findings for future reference.
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience as a data analyst
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Must be proficient in SQL - additional experience in Python is preferred
- Experience in modern cloud data warehousing and data science tools (Databricks, Snowflake, and/or Redshift)
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Experience in an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Understanding of data privacy and security regulations
Clearance Requirements
U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
Work Location
U.S. - Remote
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $72,800 - $110,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
