Akkodis is seeking a Data Analyst Specialist for a Contract job with a client in McLean, VA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate’s responsibilities include leading data requirements analysis, collaborating with teams to translate business needs into data solutions, and developing reports with actionable insights for stakeholders.
Rate Range: $63/hour to $67/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Analyst Specialist job responsibilities include:
Leading data requirements analysis and understanding existing systems to document data flow and lineage.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into data solutions.
Defining and reviewing business requirements, facilitating data flow analysis, and resolving any emerging obstacles.
Creating and reviewing logical and physical data models using data modeling tools and entity-relationship diagrams.
Writing complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases and ensuring data integrity.
Gathering data from various sources, preparing it for analysis, and generating comprehensive reports with actionable insights.
Supporting multiple concurrent projects using Agile methodology and contributing to project lifecycle activities.
Recommending best practices for database design, standards, and data management procedures.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
5-8 years of extensive data analysis experience.
Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in databases such as DB2, Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server.
Experience with Agile project methodology and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Pay Details: $63.00 to $67.00 per hour
