Type of Engagement: 3-month contract to hire (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)
Work Location: Onsite position located in Raleigh, NC

Candidates must reside in the Raleigh, NC area.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A four-year degree with courses in Computer Science or Information Systems.
• Minimum of three years' experience in a development or analysis role in an enterprise setting.

• Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks independently without supervision. Demonstrates strong organization and time management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Expertise in building and optimizing complex SQL queries for improved performance.
• Proficiency in Visual Studio for report development and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) server administration.
• Hands-on experience with Tableau visualization tool. Working experience as Tableau server administrator.
• Solid understanding of Relational Database Design and Data Warehousing methodologies and best practices.
• Be able to interact with stakeholders not limited to IT to ensure accurate and comprehensive understanding of business requirements and transform them into effective visualizations and analytical solutions.
• Work experience across all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Proficient in eliciting and documenting business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Exposure to data integration solutions and ETL processes in the Property and Casualty Insurance industry.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in SSRS Development, dashboard design, and Tableau Server administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in building and optimizing reports, creating impactful dashboards, and managing Tableau Server infrastructure to deliver data-driven insights effectively.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

SSRS Developer:

• Design, develop, and maintain SSRS reports based on business requirements.
• Optimize SQL queries to improve report performance.
• Integrate SSRS reports into existing applications or workflows.

Dashboard Design:

• Create visually compelling and user-friendly dashboards.
• Utilize best practices to ensure dashboards are intuitive and actionable.
• Compare and recommend tools (SSRS, Tableau) to fit specific project needs.
• Design custom visualizations and ensure interactivity.

Tableau Server Administrator:

• Install, configure, and maintain Tableau Server environments.
• Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and permissions.
• Monitor server performance and implement optimizations.
• Troubleshoot server-related issues and ensure high availability.

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $45.00 - $50.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
