Position: Data Analyst
Responsible for collaborating with various customer data sources and business teams to ensure the accuracy and recency of the customer data to maximize business value. Observe, hypothesize, test, and execute upon solutions to operational bugs and scheduled project work. Monitor of Master Data Management (MDM) Application - Application Servers, REST Services, server response times, failures, and queue volume. Analyze match and merge process happening within the MDM - real-time and batch. Manual consolidation of Customer Data based on observations and requests. Responsible for bulk loading and purging of customer data using batch processing and ETL tools. Monitor ETL processes across staging layers. In charge of service improvements and enhancements. Troubleshoot failures in the ingestion, updating, and publishing of customer data by MDM. Provide Impact and Root-Cause analysis to consumers of MDM Customer Data. Conduct analysis and enhancement of data flow from source systems and data staging layers within the MDM ecosystem. Responsible for incident and problem ticket resolution related to the customer MDM application. In charge of Linux, Windows Server, and IBM WebSphere Server Health Checks. Attend different ceremonies like Stand-up, Change Control, and Design Review and being able to interact and collaborate with Business Stakeholders and Data/Application Owners. Able to coordinate/collaborate with team spread across multiple regions and help resolve complex issues that might be blocking efforts.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have each of the following: 1) 4 years of experience providing technical support for frontend and backend of IBM Master Data Management (MDM) applications; 2) 4 years of experience working with Master Data Management (MDM) architecture including designing, implementation enhancement, and support; 3) Demonstrated experience working with SQL and RDBMS databases like Oracle, MSSQL and building/modifying complex queries on top of large and complex data sets; 4) Demonstrated experience working with Object-Oriented Programming and using Integration tools like Informatica Power Center; and 5) Demonstrated experience working with Customer Data, including supporting processes to keep sensitive data compliant with regulations.
