Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Time Data Analyst to join our team at our Laurel, Maryland location. This position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week, with the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects. At this time, sponsorship is not available. However, after a few months of demonstrated performance and based on client needs, we may reconsider this requirement.
Job Duties
- The Analytic Developer designs, creates and implements automated data visualizations and extracts to achieve product functionalities and meet business needs.
- Prepare an analytic framework and supporting processes for collecting and preparing program data to support multiple reporting and analytics priorities
- Under close supervision, this position supports and participates in the coding, debugging, testing, and configuration work streams that guide the development of analytic solutions.
- All work performed should be in accordance with enterprise standards and problems faced are not typically difficult or complex.
- Reviews functional and technical requirements to assist in creating specifications for analytic solution development.
- Utilizes data programming, business intelligence development, and data visualization activities to maintain and produce basic analytic solutions with oversight.
- Perform analyses and estimates for a variety of programs and takes on management activities to ensure cost analysis is conducted properly
- Act as a primary point of contact to troubleshoot dashboard data discrepancies and to maintain dashboards in working order
- Help modify dashboards/data in producing reports, support senior team members in assessing the data and gleaning results or changes in data from report to the next
- When needed provide basic management analyst and administrative support such as capturing feedback/notes, helping draft reports and Power Point briefings
- Performs unit testing of analytic solutions to help ensure accuracy, effective processing, and positive user experience.
- Supports internal analytic solution technical documentation.
- Assists generally in the implementation, enhancement, integration, and maintenance of analytic solutions.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Education in a related field
- 2 years’ related experience
- Excel & Tableau
- Power BI experience required
- Related Analytics experience required
- SSMS-SQL server required
- Python
Location: Laurel, MD
Duration: 6 months + possible extension
Job Type: Part Time
Pay Range- $32/hr. - $35/hr.
Salary
32 - 35 /hour
