Position Summary
The Data Analyst II will work closely with the business and data teams to find the right challenges and opportunities that could be solved with data solutions. They will help prioritize opportunities and organize business, IT, and data resources. Interact with business to understand their data needs and gather requirements and gaps needed to address those needs. The role may work directly with the business to address those gaps or work between the business and data teams to help provide a complete solution. This role may be responsible for maintaining data sets and ensuring quality data of them and delivering them to correct areas. This role will have demonstrated experience with using data to unlock business value.
Essential Position Duties
* Develops and designs information methods and procedures for collecting, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting a wide variety of complex data to provide to management.
* Works with internal Stakeholders to identify data issues and resolve at the master file level.
* Cleanse existing master data files according to established standards.
* Coordinates various types of information from various sources and users, in order to input and format data for problem identification and resolution proposal.
* Selects data samples and analyzes collected information according to established statistical methods. Recommends changes to processes.
* Interprets data to identify issues to assist other employees, particularly managers, in problem resolution.
* Prepares and presents reports, summarizes and communicates data to assist Management in resolving problems.
* Performs related work as assigned.
* Regular attendance in the workplace is required for interaction with others and to support teamwork.

• Additional duties as assigned
Education & Experience
· A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
· Four or more years of related experience is required.
· Experience working with business groups and using data to unlock business value
· Good experience with spreadsheet tools (Excel)
· Experience using statistics for analysis is a plus
* Experience using SQL
* A basic understanding of data governance
* SAP system process and master data experience
* Ability to analyze downstream impact of master data and business process change
* Document and interpret business requirements as an IT Analyst and help write change requests and functional specifications for IT
* Ability to compare multiple data sources for matching, cleansing, and data quality reporting
* Ability to validate data reports with source systems
* Ability to represent IT Data Governance in application change board meetings
* Team player, good listening and presentation skills, ability to bring business and IT associates together to discuss requests
* Assist in business/system process testing
* Ability to analyze root cause of a problem with an unbiased approach
* Experience with Cloud systems.

Primary environment: ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.
