Job Responsibilities:

1. Support grant management activities with USDA, eScholar and FNS;
2. Produce data catalogues and reports for USDA;
3. Provide technical assistance to FNS division and school systems with Community Eligibility Program (CEP) data collection.

Mandatory Qualifications:

1. Current experience working with the State’s Department of Education Food and Nutrition Services program within the last six (6) months as well as the U.S. Department of Agriculture federal programs;
2. Master's Degree in Health Information Technology;
3. Experience in data analysis using SQL, MySQL and PostgreSQL queries;
4. Proficiency with SAS and R programming for analyzing data sets for trends, patterns and anomalies;
5. Experience translating business requirements into functional and technical designs;
6. Ability to create complex SQL queries;
7. Ability to develop interactive dashboards or visualizations;
8. Experience with MS Power BI and/or Tableau;
9. Experience with GIT, GitHub and JIRA;
10. Must be able to follow Agile development methodologies;
11. Effective communication skills and ability to work well with multiple teams and users at various technical levels (novice to advanced).

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Ability to understand complex business problems;
2. Understanding of data conversion challenges and troubleshoot issues;
3. Understanding of quality control processes to ensure adherence to State and Federal regulations;
4. Understanding of database platforms and database design.
