Overview Tecolote Research is seeking an experienced acquisition professional to join our National Capital Programs Group in support of the U.S. Navy's initiatives to develop a data driven mission support capability. This full-time, onsite, position at Join Base Anacostia/Bowling in Washington, DC requires a Top-Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI eligibility. This role will provide the opportunity for someone to develop skills in Data Engineering. Day-to-day tasks to include: * Working with multiple functional areas and directorates to understand their data standards, collection processes, quality, and develop technical and business process improvements to be implemented in existing infrastructure and workflows
* Data wrangling, data validation and verification
* Error reporting, history of collecting and implementing customer requirements
* History records management and database query management
* Backend development and Entity management
* Compliance tracking and generating reports and schedules
* The support you provide will increase organizational efficiency and enable the full utilization of the data to support strategic decision making.
* The expected salary range is $70,000 - $130,000 and is dependent on a variety of factors, including total years of relevant experience, academic achievement, and relevant professional certifications. * Experience working with MS Office Suite
* B.S. in Economics, Business, Program Management, Systems Engineering, or a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) field
* Willingness to work full-time onsite in a classified environment
* Excellent communication and presentation skills Nice to Have: * Experience working in a classified environment
* Experience in records management, configuration management, IT Security
* Experience in data wrangling and normalization
* Experience in Cost, EVM, or Scheduling competencies
* Experience working with SQL Server and Enterprise Databases
* Experience in DoD Program Offices or DoD Data Enterprises
* Familiarity with FAR/DFAR
* Project Management Professional (PMP)/Project Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) Certification
* Advanced Degree (MBA, MA, MS, etc.)
* CompTIA Security +
* Data Engineering Certification Education Bachelor's degree required, preferably in math, engineering, business, or the sciences.
