Job Title: Data Accessibility and Analytics Manager
Location: Remote - Must be in EST
Duration: 10 Months
Role Description:
Data Accessibility and Analytics Manager will lead the Data Enablement process to ensure multiple Datasets are configured to meet the needs of the end users and are aligned with the governance requirements. He/She is expected to be able to develop data models utilizing various data sources to deliver business insights to the controllership organization and leverage data to streamline current processes. He/She will be expected to understand the data information model to ensure that the business operations are getting the right data insights. The candidate must be comfortable working with a wide range of finance stakeholders and functional teams. The right candidate will have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- The role entails defining Metrics, keeping track of performance against KPIs, benchmarking, as well as helping the business plan and prioritize based on expected results.
- Play a key role in the delivery of capabilities to maximize the trustworthiness and usage of data across the Finance Controllership Organization, including lineage, metadata management, and data quality.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging data to drive business solutions
- Mine and analyze data from databases to drive organization and improvement of current processes, enhance existing control environment, and deliver business insights
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data-gathering techniques
- Partner with IT and Business Data Stewards to ensure metadata remains accurate, complete, and current for the assigned datasets
- Advise on Data Visualizations/Dashboards for Data Insights and Data Value
- Identify and Prioritize the use of case-specific datasets within Snowflake or Tableau Prep Builder
- Work closely with the finance Data Office and other Client teams on data architecture and data warehouse to execute BI solutions
- Help bridge the gap between the business and the analytics specialists. Help prioritize the work and serve as an interface between the different functions. Also, work to handle certain project aspects of the data stream.
- Work on setting up dashboards in tools such as Tableau, create datasets used for deep dive, and answer ad-hoc questions from the business.
- Lead the transformation of operational reporting from descriptive/diagnostic analytics.
Skills:
- Experience building, deploying, and managing data pipelines and platforms as well as building analytic products that consume them in large complex data environments
- Experience creating and working with Data Architectures
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and modern data warehouses such as Snowflake
- Experience with data visualization platforms such as Tableau
- Deep knowledge of SQL, ETL scripts and creating BI reports, Data Warehousing data architecture, and data modeling concepts
- Experience with modeling CRM data and Modern SaaS-based platforms and services
- Understanding of Data Catalog and Data Lineage tools
- Experience with collecting data requirements, data modeling, and data profiling tools and techniques
- Strong Problem solving skills
Preferred Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years experience in the Data Domain
- 3+ years as People Manager/Leader
- Experience managing Finance Domain architectures including ERP and boundary systems
- Ability to develop business cases and service requirements, while creating and managing strategic alliances.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities while managing key project deliverables with quality
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
