DAT Analyst / Principal Systems Engineer - ASRC Federal Holding Company

ASRC Federal Agile Decision Sciences is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems.

We are seeking highly motivated DAT Analysts / Systems Engineers to support the development and sustainment of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) anti-ballistic missile system project in Huntsville, AL. This position requires on-site work to be performed in Huntsville, AL. There are no remote work options.

As an Analyst for the GWS A&D SPA DAT team you will be an individual contributor in an Agile environment supporting the GWS program by building analysis tools in a common repo using Python, performing deep dive analysis on internal tests at a system level, performing GMD Ground Tests, performing GMD Flight Tests, and providing technical performance measures.

* Active Secret Clearance and U.S. Citizenship

* Bachelor’s of Science in a STEM related field and 8-10 years of related experience, or Masters of Science in a related STEM degree with 8 years of related experience

* Recent extensive knowledge of Python and MATLAB

* Recent experience in developing code in a Dev Ops environment using Bitbucket or GitHub

* Experience in an Agile environment.

* Experience in both Windows and Unix OS environments.

* Demonstrated Communication skills.

* Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full time.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Radar Analysis

* Experience with GMD Ground Tests and Flight Tests

* Experience with GoLong and Cython

* Experience with requirements development/collaboration

* Exposure to GMD

* Small team leadership and mentoring skills

* Exposure to Stimulation and Simulation Software
